The Headless Pint was in chaos, Nathan was being pulled away from Jack by Sam Reynolds, he was red faced and shouting abuse right in his face.
'Come on mate, this isn't going to do any good!' Sam cried, as Ros looked frightened to death, trying to move Holly away while keeping an eye on what was going on, in case he got hurt.
'You're scum! You've persuaded that silly tart to cover for you and got away with it! You raped her!'
Jack only just avoided a punch, as Nathan lurched back in Sam's grip.
'Please...' he practically whispered, just totally stunned by what was happening, shock already setting it. It was horrifying him to see how upset and furious Nathan was.
'Admit it! You're guilty!' Nathan spat violently, only just missing Jack.
Soon, Sam managed to get Nathan outside the pub and practically pinned him against the wall until he relaxed a little.
'You've got to calm down mate! You'll be the one who ends up down the nick! Do you think Lisa would want you to do that for her?!'
Nathan's voice was shaking, becoming more emotional now.
'I love her so much...the thought of that...that..forcing her,' his lip trembled and then he broke down in tears.
'Come on mate, we don't know for certain that he did it,' Sam lied, already quite convinced himself of Jack's guilt.
'I do....' Nathan seemed convinced too...but what could anybody do about their suspicions now the charges had been dropped and where would they go from here?
