Now, I’ll stop waffling…back to Alborford we go….
WEDNESDAY JULY 27TH 2005
Lisa wandered back from the centre of Alborford in a daze. She was starting to get flashbacks to the night of the attack, and it was freaking her out now. None of it really made any sense, just shadowy figures and noises, but that only made it more frightening. She felt as though she were on the brink of knowing who her attacker was…
‘Lisa? Are you OK?’ Lisa felt sick inside. Yet another poor well meaning soul asking about her welfare! If she had to hear somebody ask her if she was alright once more, she may scream!
‘Yeah, just a little tired, that’s all,’ it was Jo Arnold in front of her.
‘Good, it’s just you looked really on edge then….sorry, that’s a stupid thing to say after everything you’ve been through really isn’t it?!’
That was the final straw. Lisa had to get away from her now.
‘I’ve got to get home, Jo. Sorry, Nathan will be wondering where I am…’
‘Yeah, sure, sorry Lisa, didn’t mean to hold you up,’ Jo felt so nervous, not knowing what to say for the best….
‘It’s alright, see you later!’
Arriving back at the Holland Road flat, Lisa hugged Nathan tightly.
‘Are you alright, babe?’ He asked, feeling worried.
‘I feel really scared at the moment, I think I’m starting to remember what happened that night…’
Nathan jumped on this fact straight away, in his desperation to help her.
‘Really?! Do you know who it was?!’
Lisa shook her head.
‘It’s early days, just bits and pieces coming back to me at the moment…but maybe it’s only a matter of time…’
