Jo has always been very headstrong but, unlike Kris, knows when to stop. So when any rows do begin in the student house, it’s often Jo who knows how to calm the situation down (which usually involves calming Kristen down!) . The mother figure of the house, Jo can be seen as nosy, but is normally just concerned for the welfare of others. Brought up well, in a sensible, close-knit family, Jo still craved the independence that life in Alborford has given her. She’s doing well at college and is one of Richard’s co-workers behind the bar in town. She gets on with most people, but there seems to be an ongoing situation with Rhys Lucas…ever since she rejected his advances!
